Software Developer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team at Illuminate Mission Solutions. As a Software Developer, you will play a critical role in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of software architecture, requirements analysis, and process execution
  • Interact with customers and development teams to gather and define requirements
  • Analyze and study customer requirements to determine the most effective software technologies to satisfy their needs
  • Design, create, test, and maintain software applications and content solutions
  • Follow a formal design process using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, and other accepted design techniques
  • Coordinate the creation and collection of necessary technology components and integrate them into a coherent site design
  • Develop and maintain software development technical documentation to assist with software maintenance and upgrades
  • Provide software process management and configuration management throughout the software development life-cycle
  • Participate in developing and delivering training as requested by the government to support applications
Qualifications:
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Current Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph
  • DoD 8570 compliance at IA Technical (IAT)/IA Management (IAM) Level 2
  • Experience working on a development team under DoD/DIA DevSecOps process
  • Understanding of Oracle and/or CENTOS based architecture
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize needs, requirements, and other issues
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science and eight years of comparable work experience
  • Desired skills include up to ten or more years of program/application operations experience
  • Prefer candidates who have experience in the Intelligence Community
  • Strong risk management skills, excellent communication, teamwork, and conflict management skills
