YOUR CONTRIBUTION:

You will achieve this by:

  • Delivering hair services including styling, cuts, coloring, texturing, treatments, makeup applications, and ear piercing (if applicable)
  • Establishing personal and professional connections with all guests
  • Offering expert product recommendations as part of every service
  • Meeting or exceeding individual sales and productivity targets
  • Participating in mandatory educational events and workshops
  • Assisting with store responsibilities (e.g., stocking Salon retail displays and shelves)
  • Maintaining Salon standards for guest service and cleanliness
  • Attending manager-led monthly business development meetings to support personal growth
  • Expressing your personal style while adhering to the Ulta Beauty dress code


ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a Cosmetology and/or Barber license; prior work experience is not required.
Additional qualifications include:
  • Expertise in the latest salon techniques
  • Familiarity with equipment necessary for technical work
  • An engaging personality to foster and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Excellent listening and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Regularly, the role requires:
  • Walking
  • Reaching with hands and arms
  • Standing for a minimum of 4 hours
  • Lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasionally climbing a ladder and balancing
  • Frequently stooping, kneeling, and crouching

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The pay range for this position is $17.00 per hour, with opportunities for eligible associates to earn additional compensation through the Company's Services Compensation Plan.

Exact pay will depend on various factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business needs.

Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
