Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at Check-Mate Industries Inc, you will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with customers by effectively communicating and resolving their issues. You will work closely with various departments, including sales and operations, to ensure seamless order processing and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with customers to resolve issues and establish a positive relationship.
  • Process orders and maintain accurate records in the ERP system.
  • Review delivery schedules and resolve conflicts to ensure timely delivery.
  • Communicate order confirmations, changes, and cancellations to customers and internal teams.
  • Identify and resolve service issues, recommending corrective action as necessary.
  • Review orders for billing accuracy and quantity errors.
  • Manage credits, return authorizations, and pallet returns.
  • Communicate customer complaints to relevant departments and ensure resolution.
  • Prepare reports for management and customers, including inventory and open order reports.
  • Process plant claims and file customer paperwork in a timely manner.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Prior customer service experience preferred.
  • Basic to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and ERP experience.
  • Ability to work with all areas of the business and communicate effectively.
