Position Summary:
The Vice President of Regional Operations will oversee the Scottsdale branch, directly reporting to the Senior Vice President of Sales.

This position is crucial for managing the sales and operational activities of one of our largest branches, with a focus on strategic oversight of our Fortune 500 clientele.

As a senior executive, you will foster team development and drive profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume full P&L accountability for the Scottsdale branch, which employs over 100 individuals.
  • Direct strategic sales initiatives across our Fortune 500 client base.
  • Lead operational and sales management teams to achieve or surpass revenue, profit, and service benchmarks.
  • Oversee lead generation, pipeline management, and sales processes while mentoring the sales team.
  • Establish strong client relationships and deliver value-oriented solutions.
  • Implement operational enhancements to increase productivity while fulfilling client service expectations.
  • Serve as a liaison between the branch and corporate headquarters on strategy, training, and key initiatives.
  • Mentor and train staff to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve complex issues with comprehensive knowledge of logistics and sales operations.
  • Exhibit effective communication and possess exceptional management and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:
  • 15 years of experience in the logistics industry.
  • 10+ years in sales leadership roles.
  • 10+ years of experience managing P&L.
  • Background in a rapidly growing brokerage environment.
  • Assertive, curious, and motivational cultural leader.
  • Demonstrated success in building cohesive teams and departments.
  • Extensive knowledge of domestic transportation modes (truckload, LTL, intermodal).
  • Proven track record of surpassing sales targets.
  • Results-oriented leader with a sense of urgency and strong coaching skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain/logistics, or a related field.

Work Environment:

This role is conducted in an office setting, utilizing a computer, telephone, and other office equipment as necessary to fulfill responsibilities. The noise level in the work environment is typical of an office with an open seating arrangement. Frequent interruptions may occur throughout the workday, and the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or listen.
