Position Overview
The Dietary Cook is responsible for preparing and serving meals in compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, as well as organizational standards and procedures. This role ensures that high-quality food and dining experiences are consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and serve meals according to established guidelines and standards.
• Collaborate with the Dietary Services Manager to maintain quality food service.
Qualifications
Essential Education and Experience
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Food Handler's Card or Serve Safe Training as mandated by local health authorities.
Preferred Education and Experience
• Prior experience in cooking or culinary roles is advantageous.
• Experience in a fast-paced culinary environment is preferred.
• Background in post-acute care or healthcare settings is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is desirable.
