The Artisan Pastry Chef is responsible for crafting exquisite pastries, breads, and desserts under the guidance of the Executive Pastry Chef and Sous Chef. This role requires a commitment to quality and presentation, ensuring that every creation meets the high standards of our luxury establishment.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Completion of a Technical or Trade School Degree
- Possession of a valid Food Handlers Permit
Experience:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a hotel or upscale dining environment
- Proficient in pastry techniques, cake decoration, and dessert presentation
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple responsibilities
- Flexibility to adapt to changes while maintaining professionalism
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist colleagues
- Creative and dynamic approach with a positive work attitude
- Results-driven with the ability to perform well under pressure
