Job Overview:

As a Water Resources Engineer, you will be instrumental in the strategic planning, design, evaluation, and management of water and wastewater treatment systems. This role encompasses extensive engineering tasks, project oversight, and teamwork with a diverse group of professionals.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed engineering assessments, designs, analyses, and operational evaluations of water and wastewater systems.
  • Develop thorough project bidding documentation for municipal water and wastewater initiatives, ensuring precision, completeness, and compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
  • Provide mentorship and oversight to drafting technicians and junior engineers as required for various assignments.
  • Supervise and evaluate the construction of water and wastewater projects to guarantee adherence to design specifications.
  • Diagnose and resolve operational challenges in wastewater and water systems, proposing enhancements to improve efficiency.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Civil Engineering.
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to obtain a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the relevant state.
  • Experience in municipal or industrial water and/or wastewater treatment and distribution is advantageous.
  • Understanding of civil engineering principles related to municipal engineering and water/wastewater treatment.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and national regulations governing water and wastewater.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Possession of Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
