This role will be responsible for developing and executing maturity and transition plans for development stage programs, ensuring alignment of Operations and Program objectives across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership – creating plans to integrate cross-functional groups, including manufacturing engineering, tool engineering/design, and manufacturing operations, to develop and deliver products per schedule and budget targets.
  • Influencing and aligning expectations and execution of program and operations team's objectives.
  • Developing relationships with cross-functional teams, often across multiple sites.
  • Ability to remain collected and manage expectations while requirements are still developing.
  • Establish and oversee program plans for the operations site teams to successfully execute program requirements relative to schedule, cost, and performance/quality.
  • Interface with program teams members and customers to ensure program needs and site plans are in alignment.
  • Develop recovery plans when issues arise and coordinate applicable corrective actions.
  • Work special projects as assigned and recommend improvements to key processes that would improve the overall flow of the site's products.
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior operations management experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior operations management experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior operations management experience.
  • 3 years manufacturing experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze, evaluate and develop solutions to technical problems with minimum supervision.
  • Knowledge of project management.
  • Presentation skills (creating and delivery).
  • Experience with composite manufacturing in the aerospace industry.
