Job Title: Store Manager

At TrailersPlus, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail sales and service team. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store's operations, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our sales goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and enforce all aspects of the Employee Handbook.
  • Ensure the highest quality of service to customers before, during, and after a purchase.
  • Reconcile all monies received and/or deposited daily, and submit appropriate documents to the appropriate departments and financial institutions.
  • Maintain time cards, ensuring they are up-to-date with start and end times, as well as appropriate breaks are scheduled.
  • Meet all deadlines for daily, weekly, bi-monthly, monthly, and annually reports.
  • Manage and perform all daily processes, including trailer sales, parts sales, service work, inventory control, parts purchases, vendor relations, special orders, and pricing.
  • Possess a working knowledge of all TrailersPlus products and dealership operations.
  • Manage and perform selling processes to effectively fit the customer's use of the trailer with appropriate trailer, parts, and service provided by TrailersPlus.
  • Ensure the store facility and grounds are maintained by cleaning and organizing the building, shop, and trailers, in order to promote safety, security, and a professional appearance.
  • Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all staff.
  • Verify and perform proper invoicing of all trailers, parts, and labor.
  • Ensure that all required paperwork associated with each sale is submitted to the appropriate state agencies and Interstate Group departments, accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Attend and participate in all required team and company meetings.
  • Obtain state and city vehicle sales licenses, where required by law.
  • Ensure that all policies and procedures related to managing the facility's keys are fully executed and enforced.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for generating leads in the local market.
  • Ability to operate forklift and tractor. (Company certification required)
  • Ability to operate power tools and welding equipment. (Company certification required)
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Related experience and/or training.
  • Strong sales skills.
  • Strong communication skills, speaking and writing.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Multitask between working with employees, customers, and management.
  • Superb organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to work well under pressure and ability to diffuse difficult situations.
Work Environment:

The Store Manager will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with frequent exposure to outside weather conditions. The employee may be required to move mechanical parts and may be exposed to materials as described in MSDS documents.
