RAYUS Radiology is seeking an experienced MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team.

We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment.

The pay range for this position is $46,720 based on direct and relevant experience.

As an MRI Imaging Specialist, you will operate your assigned scanner(s) to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes.

You will guide patients through the MRI process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body with minimal supervision or repeat scanning.
  • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contradictions, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
  • Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the procedure and positioning patients for optimal imaging.
  • Adjust MRI scan parameters correctly and as needed to ensure high-quality images.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain positive working relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers.
  • Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations to protect yourself, patients, and coworkers.
  • Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
