Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Trinity Health Of New England. As a key member of our Operating Room team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting surgeons during operative procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of sterile and unsterile supplies and equipment, and autoclaving of sterile equipment and supplies.
  • Take responsibility for the proper care of all supplies and equipment, and transport patients and assist with transferring patients from stretcher to table and vice versa.
  • Report unusual occurrences to the Operating Room Director or designee, and contribute to the efficient and productive operations of the Operating Room.
  • May be required to work at either campus or alternate sites, and may have partial access to medications due to job responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology.
  • Licensure: Certified CST.
  • Certification: BLS from American Heart Association or Red Cross required.
  • Experience: Minimum one year of scrub experience preferred.
