SkyBridge Healthcare Home Health & Hospice is seeking a skilled travel nurse RN to provide high-quality patient care in a hospice setting.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate travel nurse RN to join our team in providing end-of-life care to patients and their families. As a hospice care professional, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care that addresses the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as needed
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, social workers, and chaplains, to ensure comprehensive care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding of care plans and progress
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Oregon
  • Experience in hospice care or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
