Key Responsibilities
  • Project Estimation: Prepare cost estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements, identifying labor, material, and time requirements, and presenting prepared estimates to customers.
  • Project Management: Manage projects from customer purchase order to delivery, coordinating with purchasing, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
  • Customer Communication: Work directly with customers to plan, procure, and estimate their projects, ensuring customer satisfaction and building strong relationships.
  • Dispute Resolution: Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information, and presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Reporting and Data Management: Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, and maintaining bid data bases by entering and backing up data.
  • Vendor Management: Obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials, identifying qualified subcontractors, and negotiating prices.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain quality service by following organization standards and contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge in Autodesk Products/SDS2/Inventor, Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word, and the ability to read and interpret structural steel blueprints.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
