Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Intern Grad to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Intern Grad, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacy, and promoting the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience: Engage with customers and patients, providing assistance with products and services, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Operations: Counsel patients on medication usage, perform pharmacist tasks, and ensure the pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations and company policies.
  • People & Performance Management: Assist with staff hiring and training, reinforce performance expectations, and foster a shared vision among team members.
  • Training & Personal Development: Maintain current knowledge and skills related to pharmacy and healthcare, and pursue certifications and education credits as required.
Requirements
  • Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited educational institution prior to the start date.
  • Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the respective Board of Pharmacy in the states within the district within 90 days of hire.
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
  • Certified Immunizer or willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
