About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Music Therapist to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville, IN. As a Music Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing music therapy services to patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and evaluating patient progress.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement music therapy treatment plans to meet the unique needs of patients
  • Conduct patient assessments and establish music therapy treatment goals in collaboration with healthcare teams
  • Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Coordinate therapeutic music activities for both large and small groups, promoting socialization and patient engagement
  • Provide patients with information regarding resources and therapeutic music activities in the community
Requirements
  • Registered or Board Certified Music Therapist required
  • Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy required; Master's degree preferred
