About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in designing and building scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures and solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their business challenges and provide advice on strategies for migrating existing workloads to the cloud.
  • Design and build cloud solutions that meet the needs of our customers, leveraging AWS technologies and services.
  • Work closely with AWS Sales and other AWS teams to drive successful business outcomes for our customers.
  • Mobilize resources within AWS and work with our extensive partner network to build deep adoption and broad use of AWS within our enterprise customers.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
  • 4+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
  • Experience in the Construction, Real Estate, or Transportation & Logistics industry.

Compensation

The base pay for this position ranges from $118,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $204,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
