The Opportunity
This position is remote, requiring candidates to reside in the designated area. The role involves extensive travel, up to 75%.
Key Responsibilities
The Automation Support Specialist serves as the primary contact for automation accounts, focusing on both technical assistance and enhancing customer experiences. Responsibilities include:
- Providing ongoing proactive product support for assigned accounts.
- Implementing and maintaining quality system effectiveness.
- Delivering Level I and Level II technical support, addressing hardware, software, and reagent issues.
- Conducting proactive service support activities to ensure optimal system performance.
- Utilizing standard troubleshooting tools to identify root causes of issues.
- Documenting customer complaints accurately and promptly.
- Planning and prioritizing customer visits and activities.
- Preparing and executing training sessions to enhance customer self-sufficiency.
- Coordinating product delivery and billing in assigned accounts.
- Collaborating with sales teams to develop tailored account strategies.
- Building strong relationships to uncover opportunities for value expansion.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- An Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in laboratory instrumentation.
- Experience in customer interaction.
