Principal Structural Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Bridge/Structural Engineer to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our Transportation Department, you will be responsible for leading bridge design projects and providing expertise in structural services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead bridge design projects, including planning, analysis, and design
  • Perform structural design calculations, bridge design details, and specifications development
  • Determine bridge quantity development, assign work, and/or checking design calculations, and construction cost estimate
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget completion
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering
  • 6+ years of associated experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the engineering industry on bridge projects
  • Master's degree
  • MicroStation experience
