Certified Educator

We are seeking experienced Certified Teachers to join our team at a college preparatory school in Fairfield County. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in upper-school level mathematics, science, and history.
Responsibilities:- Create engaging instructional resources for the classroom.
- Plan and deliver effective instructional activities that meet course and school-wide student performance goals.
- Establish a positive educational climate that fosters student learning.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with best practices in education.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that integrate competencies, goals, and objectives.
- Utilize various curriculum resources to support student learning.
- Work with program coordinators to ensure initiatives are being met.
- Provide individualized support to students through tutoring and mentoring.
- Manage classroom behavior and invoke approved disciplinary procedures as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or a Connecticut State Teaching license.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a substitute teacher capacity.
- Ability to be fingerprinted.
