About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Engineer to join our team as a Senior Engineer at SH&A Operating Unit. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, analyzing, troubleshooting, and providing technical expertise during product development.
Job Description
- Designs studies to investigate specific life science questions within the field of cardiovascular engineering.
- Develops and analyzes heart valves and heart valve delivery systems utilizing Engineering First Principles.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate research discoveries into marketable products.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of post-graduation industry experience in cardiovascular engineering or a related field.
- Excellent organization and communication skills, with the ability to work independently under limited supervision.
- Strong understanding of engineering materials properties and structure-property relationships.
- Proficiency in materials testing, analysis, and interpretation of results.
- Familiarity with various materials, including metals, polymers, sutures, and tissues.
