We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Hygienist to join our team at Washington Metro. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing industrial hygiene safety programs, conducting investigations, and providing expert advice on occupational health and safety matters.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and coordinate industrial hygiene components of occupational safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and Authority internal policies.
- Conduct fieldwork, including sampling and monitoring personnel exposure, and evaluate survey results to determine compliance with regulations.
- Inspect and evaluate work and workplace operations to identify potential occupational exposures and hazards.
- Investigate incidents and draw conclusions, making recommendations for correcting unsafe conditions and actions.
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Sciences, Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
- Minimum of seven years of professional experience in industrial hygiene and occupational health and safety.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial hygiene principles.
