Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygiene Specialist to join our team in a Periodontics office in Washington DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oral health care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial patient screenings and clean teeth
  • Scale and root plan teeth, and perform cancer screenings
  • Advise patients on oral health and preventative care
  • Assist dentists in selecting treatments for teeth or gum diseases
  • Maintain accurate documentation and charts on each patient

Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license to practice in Washington, DC
  • Associate's degree or diploma in Dental Hygiene
  • Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
