Clinical Director of Women's Health Services - Nashville, TN

Nashville General Hospital is seeking a Clinical Director of Women's Health to lead our Women's Health Services division. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for directing the day-to-day operations, budgeting, financial management, and human resource management of the department.

The Clinical Director of Women's Health Services will have 24/7 operational responsibility and accountability for standards of care and service within specified clinical areas/units. This includes establishing, meeting, and continuously monitoring goals and objectives while maintaining alignment with the strategic goals and objectives for NGH.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a health-related field and 3-5 years of directing experience in Women's Services. They will also possess BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs staff and services to ensure the delivery of efficient, quality care.
  • Effectively manages daily operational clinical operations, personnel, and processes.
  • Ensures availability of resources and utilizes resources effectively through standardization of equipment, inventory management, and implementation of effective staffing based on patient acuity, census, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors capital and operational budgets.
  • Reviews unit performance in relation to established goals, implementing changes to effect continual improvement in the services provided.
