Job Summary:

The Loan Officer - Consumer Direct will be responsible for originating residential mortgage loans, providing excellent customer service to inbound leads, clients, and prospective clients, and evaluating loan applications and documentation to confirm credit worthiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market and originate residential mortgage loans
  • Provide exceptional customer service to inbound leads, clients, and prospective clients
  • Evaluate loan applications and documentation to confirm credit worthiness
  • Work with clients to understand their financial situation and needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth loan processing

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in inbound call center, preferably with new origination
  • Proven history of success in all rate environments
  • Active NMLS Licensing
  • Contagiously positive attitude and energy
  • Ability to adapt to change and bring process improvements to the table
  • Deep knowledge of various loan products, origination processes, policies, procedures, underwriting guidelines, and documentation requirements
  • Encompass experience is a must
  • CRM and LMS experience are helpful
