Job Summary:

Rivers Casino seeks a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant and Bar Management Leader to oversee the Beverage Department. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring proper staffing, training, and inventory management to meet budgetary guidelines and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staffing and Training: Ensure proper staffing levels and train supervisors and team members to meet forecasted volume and budgetary guidelines.
  • Inventory Management: Order liquor, wine, and beer for the property, monitor inventories, and report discrepancies to the director.
  • Financial Management: Meet budgeted figures for labor and other expenses, and maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Customer Service: Ensure a maximum level of service and satisfaction throughout the property, in the area of beverage operations.
  • Compliance: Ensure departmental compliance with applicable federal and state laws governing food and beverage.
  • Team Management: Supervise up to six Beverage Supervisors and Bartenders, Cocktail Servers, and Bar Porters, and evaluate team members for succession planning.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including team members, supervisors, and directors.
Requirements:
  • Education: Five (5) plus years of experience in restaurant and bar management, and two (2) plus years in multi-venue management.
  • Certifications: Gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s).
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills, with particular attention to quality and detail.
