Position: WebMethods Developer

Location: Columbus, OH

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in-office per week)

Job Overview:

The WebMethods Developer will be responsible for the development, implementation, and support of various environments, applications, or platforms. This role requires the ability to create clean, maintainable, and testable code/configurations while performing necessary reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement solutions that ensure the health, performance, and availability of systems.
  • Collaborate effectively with business and technology teams to advocate for improvements.
  • Develop technical documentation, specifications, and project artifacts for code development.
  • Identify and establish best practices and standards for development.
  • Coordinate implementation efforts and maintain strong communication across teams.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Experience with WebMethods development, including SoftwareAG Integration Server, Designer, Universal Messaging, MWS, and TN.
  • Proficiency in RDBMS systems such as Oracle or SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with tools like SOAPUI and Kibana.
  • Ability to document and understand integration-specific requirements across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Capability to create detailed design documents specific to WebMethods projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of APIGEE, Java, or Kafka is advantageous.
  • Experience with WebMethods integration with mainframe, Salesforce, or Google Cloud is a plus.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects and work independently.
  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
