We are seeking a skilled Pilot to deliver critical medical air transportation services.
This role requires the pilot to be proficient in operating our EC135 aircraft. Shifts are structured as seven (7) days on and seven (7) days off, with 12-hour duty periods, accommodating both day and night operations.
Safety is paramount in our operations; thus, all pilots are part of a dedicated, professional team committed to maintaining high safety standards for both crew and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of medical professionals to ensure safe transport of patients to various facilities.
- Guarantee aircraft readiness for flight according to relevant manuals, adhering to all FAA regulations and company protocols, including cleanliness standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all shifts, including load manifests.
- Communicate effectively with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, and associated facilities.
- Provide essential shift change information to the incoming pilot and team, following established protocols for company updates.
- Ensure compliance with required certifications and participate in ongoing training for both ground and air operations.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and professionalism while upholding our high standards in safety and service.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Certificate
- Helicopter Instrument Rating
- Valid FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- Minimum of 2,000 helicopter flight hours
- At least 1,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in helicopters
- Minimum of 1,000 turbine flight hours
- At least 200 night flight hours in helicopters (aided or unaided)
- Minimum of 100 hours of cumulative instrument flight time (for IFR roles)
Other Requirements:
- Maximum duty weight of 230 lbs, including flight gear
- Previous experience with Airbus EC135/H135 or similar aircraft is preferred but not mandatory.
