Aircraft Maintenance Technician I Job Description

Clay Lacy Aviation is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician I to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general to complex maintenance tasks on assigned aircraft and related systems.
  • Examine, disassemble, and inspect engines, parts, or other components for wear, warping, breaks, leaks, or other non-conformities or deficiencies.
  • Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components, and accessories, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Service and maintain aircraft systems by performing tasks, including flushing crankcase, cleaning screens, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes.
  • Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, functional components, and parts, such as wings and fuselage, rigging, and hydraulic units.
  • Disassemble/Reassemble aircraft, systems, or components, following drawings, engineering orders, and technical publications.
Requirements:
  • A&P Certificate
  • 0-2 years of experience in corporate/business jet maintenance
  • Ability to effectively communicate with management, peers, and external parties
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workflow
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong teamwork acumen with a profound ability to work under extreme pressure
  • Strong passion for working in a fast-paced and result-oriented environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
