We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor to join our team in the Department of Management at the Culverhouse College of Business. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Micro Organizational Behavior and Human Resources, as well as conducting high-quality research and publishing in top Management journals.

About the Position

This is a tenure-track position that offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our department. The ideal candidate will have a strong record of research and a passion for teaching. We are particularly interested in candidates who can teach specialty courses such as compensation, introduction to HR, and training & development.

Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Micro OB and/or HR
  • Conduct high-quality research and publish in top Management journals
  • Develop and maintain a strong research program
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our department
Requirements
  • Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited Business School
  • Demonstrated potential for conducting high-quality research and publishing in top Management journals
  • Demonstrated potential for high-quality teaching
