We are currently assisting a client in the search for a Senior Bookkeeping Specialist to manage the financial records and accounts of the organization, emphasizing daily financial operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong skills in QuickBooks Desktop and Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and process accounts payable and receivable
- Record debits and credits accurately
- Document financial transactions
- Administer payroll and prepare tax documentation
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure account balances
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist in data preparation for external accounting professionals
- Support collaboration with external accountants as necessary
- Manage inventory and asset oversight
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks Desktop
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
