Responsibilities:
Oversee a range of cleaning, laundry, and linen operations, necessitating strong leadership abilities. Effectively manage a team of 25 or more staff members. Provide guidance, direction, and fairness in interactions with all employees. Foster a productive and cohesive working relationship with department personnel, Department Heads, all hospital staff, and the public. Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations for patients, visitors, and staff. Maintain cleanliness in public areas to project a strong, positive image. Develop relevant policies and procedures to ensure adherence to infection control and sanitation standards. Coordinate rental linen and uniform services. Offer multi-disciplinary support services. Engage in employee training and awareness initiatives.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- A minimum of 2 years of housekeeping experience in a healthcare environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory agency requirements is preferred.
- Knowledge of chemical sanitizers and general housekeeping practices.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, encompassing estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $30.00 to $35.00.
The precise starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, considering a wide range of factors, including but not limited to, skillset, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
