We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team at Ponca City Development Authority. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for constructing the framework of buildings and other structures according to construction plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately measuring, cutting, and shaping lumber, wood, and other building materials to ensure precise fit and finish.
  • Attaching building materials using screws, nuts, and bolts to ensure a strong and stable structure.
  • Erecting temporary structures such as scaffolds and hoists to facilitate safe and efficient construction.
  • Performing repairs on existing framework structures that are damaged or structurally unsound to ensure safety and compliance with building codes.
  • Analyzing blueprints and drawings to determine the structural dimensions of the framework to be constructed and identify potential structural problems.
  • Examining building materials to identify any defects or irregularities that could impact the integrity of the structure.
