NiSource is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Project Manager to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Project Manager, you will be responsible for guiding cross-functional cybersecurity teams using Agile and waterfall methodologies to achieve cybersecurity objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach cross-functional cybersecurity teams in the use of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, to drive project success
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines
  • Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives to ensure that teams adhere to Agile principles and continuously improve
  • Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to support the project's success
  • Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities related to the project and develop mitigation strategies
  • Establish and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders, including senior management, IT teams, and cybersecurity experts, to ensure alignment with project goals
  • Oversee the execution of cybersecurity projects, including the implementation of security measures, software upgrades, and infrastructure enhancements
  • Ensure that all project components meet cybersecurity standards, industry best practices, and compliance requirements
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report on financial progress to senior management
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations
  • Effectively manage changes in project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and assess their impact on project timelines and budgets
  • Coordinate with external vendors and third-party service providers to ensure project success
  • Understand and stay current with cybersecurity best practices, threats, and technologies to make informed decisions during project execution

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in cyber or infrastructure project management
  • 3+ years of experience managing projects with budgets of 3M+
  • Experience with resource capacity planning
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in the utilities industry
    • Networking and or cyber experience
    • Physical security project management
    • Cloud-based, SaaS, and on-premises application implementation and integration experience
    • PMP certification
    • Agile certification
    • 2+ years of supervisory experience
    • Certifications (CISSP, CISM or equivalent) would be a plus
