Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily on-site project management and ensure all project aspects are addressed.
  • Negotiate pricing with trades and vendors to secure profitable contracts.
  • Assess site resource needs (manpower, equipment, materials) from initiation to completion while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Plan construction activities and schedule on-site work to meet project deadlines.
  • Assist in procurement of materials and supplies.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules on-site.
  • Provide daily updates to clients, including project progress reports and documentation of daily activities.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to address inquiries and concerns.
  • Assign trade contracts and clarify responsibilities.
  • Communicate quality and performance expectations to all contractors and vendors.
  • Aim for defect-free construction and timely project completion.
  • Supervise on-site work and offer guidance as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
  • Compile the Project Close Out binder.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Willingness to travel and work under company per diem.
  • Experience in ground-up construction is essential.
  • Background in light industrial, multistory storage facilities, and precast construction is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, FastTrack, and other software tools.
  • OSHA certification is mandatory.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred background in carpentry.
