Position Overview:

We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable Permanent Superintendent to lead our construction projects from inception to completion. This role is ideal for an experienced professional eager to take on the responsibilities of overseeing all project aspects, including managing plans, supervising personnel, and coordinating with subcontractors. A strong attention to detail, exceptional leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the construction sector are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all construction operations, ensuring efficient completion of all project phases.
  2. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other specialists to deliver superior results.
  3. Lead the on-site construction team, including recruitment, training, and performance assessments.
  4. Inspect work progress and construction sites to ensure safety and compliance with specifications.
  5. Develop and adjust project work plans as necessary to accommodate evolving requirements.
  6. Quickly and professionally resolve any on-site conflicts or challenges.
  7. Ensure timely completion of work within budget, adhering to all building codes and safety regulations.
  8. Maintain effective communication with clients, team members, and stakeholders regarding project status.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related discipline is required.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a comparable role within the construction field.
  3. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
  4. Strong communication and leadership abilities with a proven capacity to manage a team.
  5. Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  6. Proficiency in construction management software and relevant computer applications.
  7. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and detail.
  8. Demonstrated success in completing construction projects on time and within budget.
  9. Certification as a Construction Manager (CCM) or similar credential is advantageous.
