About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, employees, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide security services to protect people and property, including responding to emergencies and incidents.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the hospital campus to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Monitor and respond to security alarms and CCTV systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including law enforcement and emergency services, to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and staff to promote a culture of safety and respect.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 1 year of security experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • California Security Guard Registration upon hire.
  • California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire.
  • AVADE I/II training within 30 to 150 days of hire.
  • Foam Pepper Spray training.
