Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at RHI DVA Renal Healthcare, Inc. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing supply chain operations, and ensuring seamless warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain accurate inventory records, including purchase orders, inventory transaction audits, and supply levels.
  • Order, receive, and issue supplies, including medications, on a daily basis.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly counts of supplies and reissue using the automated inventory system.
  • Stock treatment areas daily and provide supplies, including medications, to staff.
  • Maintain inventory on a first-in, first-out (FIFO) basis and ensure that supplies do not expire before usage.
  • Print and review system reports and inventory transaction audits on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Communicate with management, staff, and vendors regarding supply delivery and notify management of any unusual incidents.
  • Participate in facility QA/CQI process and perform duties and responsibilities of other positions in the clinic as required.
  • Consistent, regular attendance as scheduled is an essential responsibility of this position.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of related experience preferred.
  • Additional qualifications as required by individual state law.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills required.
  • Familiarity with computerized inventory systems preferred; basic computer familiarity required.
