Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aid to join our team at Nurse Next Door. As a member of our care team, you will provide personal care services to clients in their homes, working under the supervision of our Care Designer or nurse.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care services as directed by the Care Designer or nurse
  • Observing clients and reporting any changes or concerns
  • Documenting client care and observations
  • Assisting clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Providing catheter care and emptying ostomy bags
  • Assisting with feeding and taking vital signs
  • Supporting good skin care and preventing skin breakdown
  • Assisting clients with mobility and transfers
  • Providing emotional support and companionship

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Certified Nurse Aide license
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Registration on the Idaho State Health Care Aide Registry
  • A minimum of one year of documented experience in a similar role
  • Certification in CPR
  • A criminal background check clearance
  • A negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
