We are seeking talented educators to join our team at EXPLO Middle School, a 4-week summer program for students in grades 6-8. As an Instructor, you will play a key role in shaping the educational experience of our students, guiding them through a dynamic, project-based curriculum that emphasizes collaboration, critical thinking, and real-world problem solving.

About the Program

EXPLO Middle School is a unique opportunity for students to explore their interests and passions in a supportive and inclusive environment. Our program offers a range of courses, including Humanities, Social Sciences, and STEM subjects, taught by subject-area experts and professional teachers. You will have the flexibility to infuse your teaching with your unique expertise, interests, and passions, while working closely with our curriculum development team to customize the curriculum to meet the needs of our students.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and curriculum materials
  • Teach two or three 75-minute classes each weekday
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Facilitate connections with external partners and guest speakers, as appropriate
  • Attend weekly faculty meetings and provide student feedback throughout the summer
Requirements
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree, with coursework and/or professional experience directly related to the classes you will teach
  • Availability to work on campus for the duration of the program

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a stipend of $4,200 to $5,000, based on relevant training and experience. Lunch is provided for all instructors, and campus housing may be available on a limited basis.
