Position Overview

The Store Associate plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing assistance in a friendly and efficient manner while upholding the store's aesthetic standards and supporting operational tasks as needed.

Essential Duties:

  • Welcome and assist customers, enhancing sales by identifying their needs and offering appropriate support
  • Represent the brand effectively in-store and during community events
  • Process transactions at the cash register with accuracy and efficiency
  • Receive and manage incoming shipments as instructed
  • Support inventory management through cycle counts and physical inventory checks, as well as restocking shelves and displays
  • Participate in visual merchandising efforts and assist with special events and promotions as required
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by performing regular cleaning and upkeep

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in retail or sales is preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office preferred) and basic math
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally, stand for extended periods, and perform various physical tasks
  • Capable of moving merchandise using carts, dollies, and other equipment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • May be required to work over 40 hours per week as needed for business operations or training
