Job SummaryWe are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team. As a vitality specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing a full range of nursing care in an interdisciplinary environment. Your responsibilities will include resident evaluation, care planning, direct patient care, monitoring patient care provided by unlicensed staff, problem-solving, bedside nursing, medication administration, and treatments.
Responsibilities- Resident Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of residents to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Care Planning: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Direct Patient Care: Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support.
- Monitoring Patient Care: Monitor the care provided by unlicensed staff and take corrective action as needed.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve problems that may arise in the delivery of care.
- Bedside Nursing: Provide high-quality bedside nursing care to residents, including assessing their needs, developing care plans, and implementing interventions.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications to residents as prescribed by physicians.
- Treatments: Provide treatments to residents as ordered by physicians.

QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing and be currently licensed as a LPN/LVN by the State Board of Nursing. CPR certification is also required. Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is preferred.
