Position Overview:

PURPOSE is in search of a Senior IT Business Systems Analyst specializing in Billing to enhance our Finance Technology team. The selected individual will oversee the technological needs of the Finance Division. This role entails leading the identification of system specifications for PURE's Billing platform alongside other interconnected financial systems. The ideal candidate will possess a self-driven attitude, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to engage effectively with end users to collect and document requirements, conduct analyses, and support the implementation of various minor enhancements and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee requirements management while collaborating with IT Project Leads and business stakeholders.
  • Assist IT Project Leads and facilitate agile ceremonies.
  • Provide production support during critical downtimes and system releases.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in property and casualty insurance.
  • Proven experience in leading IT projects within personal lines of property and casualty insurance.
  • Familiarity with billing systems, particularly Duck Creek Billing is preferred.
  • Experience with third-party integrations and interfaces.
  • Proficient in XML, SQL Server, and metadata-driven policy administration systems.
  • Awareness of emerging technology trends.
  • Understanding of data concepts and transformation across various platforms.
  • Ability to innovate and propose solutions independently.
  • Strong communication and consensus-building skills.

Prior consulting experience is advantageous, along with knowledge of insurance billing and finance. Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies is also beneficial. Some weekend or late-night work may be necessary for scheduled system releases.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $80K to $100K annually, commensurate with skills, experience, and market alignment.
