Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a range of maintenance activities including troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and replacing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Focus on the repair and troubleshooting of electrical and PLC systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to safely execute Preventive Maintenance Activities and respond to breakdown incidents in a production setting.
  • Utilize maintenance expertise to enhance productivity and minimize downtime and waste.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, including lock-out tag-out procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in troubleshooting and repairing PLCs, conveyors, controls, or other electrical equipment.
  • Possession of a current third-grade Stationary Engineer license or boiler license; sponsorship available.
  • Willingness to work any shift, including overtime and weekends as required.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A Technical Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Trades.
  • Experience in the Corrugated Packaging or Printing sector.
  • Certification in Electrical or PLC systems.
  • Familiarity with drives/PLCs from manufacturers such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Lenze.
  • Basic understanding of ladder logic.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Proficient in working with PLCs.
  • Ability to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
  • Basic computer skills for diagnostic equipment.
Compensation and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $42.35 per hour, commensurate with skills and experience. PCA offers an excellent benefits package, including health, dental, and optometry coverage, as well as a 401K plan with company matching.

All necessary tools, uniforms, and personal protective equipment (PPE) are provided by PCA.
