Job Overview

Badger Body & Truck Equipment is seeking a skilled Welding and Mechanical Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of truck equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation of truck equipment, ensuring proper fit and function.
  • Diagnose and repair truck equipment, utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Operate machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards.

Preferred Skills:

  • Welding skills, with the ability to perform various welding techniques.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment, including multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools, with a focus on safety and ergonomics.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and customers.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on mechanical or technical education.
  • Proven experience as a Welding and Mechanical Specialist, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Valid driver's license, with a clean driving record.
