The selected candidate will oversee the expansion of the company's Municipal services in this area and will report directly to the Municipal Sector Leader. Core responsibilities encompass setting both short-term and long-term revenue objectives, managing project budgets, recruiting personnel, and seeking new client engagements. The ideal candidate will significantly contribute to the company's visibility through participation in industry-specific organizations and interactions with key municipal stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Foster client relationships and identify project opportunities.
  • Develop strategic alliances to secure projects and ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate with sector leaders on project pursuits and staffing needs.
  • Implement strategic initiatives and objectives for the sector.
  • Guide project engineers in contract formulation and profitability management.
  • Engage in business development and marketing initiatives.
  • Participate in industry conferences and seminars.
  • Coordinate project pursuit strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Lead meetings for the municipal leadership team.
  • Recruit and hire personnel to achieve growth targets.
  • Stay informed on advancements in civil engineering relevant to the market.
  • Comply with safety regulations and uphold ethical standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with over 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Licensed engineer in the State of North Dakota.
  • In-depth knowledge of municipal engineering and public agencies in North Dakota.
  • Proven experience in business development and team leadership.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
  • Valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to operate a computer and communicate effectively.
  • Capable of lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • May require prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Must be available to work the required hours.
