The role of the Registered Nurse in the Surgical Hospital is vital for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a dedicated professional with extensive experience in critical care or emergency services.
Work Experience
A minimum of three years of experience as a Registered Nurse is essential, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in Critical Care or the Emergency Department. Previous experience in a management capacity is also advantageous.
Licensure and Certifications
Candidates must possess a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Texas. Additionally, current CPR certification is mandatory. ACLS and PALS certifications must be obtained within six months of joining the department.
Educational Requirements
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required for this position. Furthermore, completion of TNCC/ATCN and CPI training within the first year of employment is necessary to ensure the highest standards of care.
