We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography.
- Ensure accurate and efficient patient care, including patient identification, positioning, and imaging protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality images and accurate diagnoses.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in diagnostic imaging technology and techniques.
- Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in radiography, fluoroscopy, or computed tomography.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
