Diagnostic Radiology Technologist

Join Corewell Health as a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology, ensuring accurate and efficient results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform quality diagnostic exams after verifying patient identification and physician orders.
  • Acquire accurate patient histories and document in the medical record.
  • Monitor patients during procedures to ensure patient safety.
  • Ensure STAT requests are relayed to radiologists in a timely manner.
  • Effectively communicate with customers, administrative staff, medical staff, and peers.
  • Operate diagnostic imaging equipment and follow policy for malfunctions or quality control failures.
  • Minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self.
  • Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
  • Contribute to department operations by assisting fellow employees and staying in compliance with quality assurance and quality control.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program.
  • CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or ARC American Red Cross.
