Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our team at Paradise Creek Health and Rehabilitation. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working closely with our Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist CNAs in their daily duties, providing support and care to residents as needed.
  • Respond to nurse call systems to determine resident needs and provide timely assistance.
  • Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care, promoting dignity and respect at all times.
  • Obtain food trays and assist residents with feeding, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dining experience.
  • Assist residents with range of motion exercises, movement to wheelchair or activity areas, and turning and positioning in bed, promoting mobility and comfort.
  • Document services provided, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Assist residents with ambulation for short distances within the facility, ensuring safe and efficient movement.
  • Punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts are essential, as they directly impact the quality of care provided.
Other Functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain resident/patient confidentiality, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
  • Conduct job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company's Code of Conduct, its policies and procedures, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required, with a strong foundation in communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Within 120 days of employment, complete a state-approved nursing assistant training program and become certified, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Six months of experience in a long-term care environment preferred, with a proven track record of providing high-quality care and support.
