Position Overview:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is accountable for delivering high-quality healthcare services. This role encompasses both direct and indirect nursing care, health maintenance, patient education, counseling, collaborative planning, and rehabilitation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop superior care plans in collaboration with the clinical team.
  • Provide direct patient care, including education on health regimens and wellness.
  • Document patient histories, assessments, and treatment plans accurately.
  • Manage communication in the electronic medical record system, ensuring efficient patient care.
  • Participate actively in departmental programs and adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Massachusetts.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications are mandatory.
  • Experience in emergency care and ambulatory settings is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Work Schedule:

This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours per week, with a rotating schedule that includes day, evening, and overnight shifts, as well as weekends and holidays based on departmental needs.
